Shipping Policy

 

Thank you for visiting and shopping at solandinomarket.co.uk. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

 

1. Shipping Processing Time

a) All orders are processed Monday to Friday between 10:30am and 3:00pm. 

b) If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a day or two. Large orders may also be subject to a delay.

c) If there is a significant delay in shipment to your order, we will contact you via email.

 

2. Frozen and Refrigerated Product Orders

a) These orders will only be despatched Monday to Wednesday.  

b) Products in this category are despatched using a thermal bag or box depending on the size of your order, along with ice packs to help keep a low temperature during the delivery process. This guarantees the quality of your goods for approximately 24 hours from the day of despatch. We cannot guarantee the quality of frozen items after 24 hours.

c) When you receive your order, frozen items may be slightly defrosted on the surface but the product is still in good condition. It is unlikely that the product has completely defrosted or spoiled. It is highly advised that you place all frozen goods in the freezer as soon as it has arrived to you.

d) Should there be an issue with your frozen goods, please send us an email upon receiving your delivery along with photos of spoilage.

e) We hold no responsibility for the quality of frozen products should you choose to rearrange the delivery.

 

Order Amendments

Once your order is placed and you wish to add more products, please email us to get this sorted as soon as possible before shipping.

Amending an order could cause a delay in shipping by an additional day and/or additional shipping charges.

Amending will create a secondary invoice which will need to be paid before we despatch your order.

Should you decide to place a second order instead of amending your first, they will be shipped separately and the shipping charges will stand.

 

Order Returned to Sender

In rare instances, Royal Mail may return your parcel to us due to an issue with your order.

a) The most likely case for why your order was returned to us was because the delivery address provided to us was incorrectly addressed. Please ensure your delivery address is correct.

b) If you wish to have your order re-delivered to you, you must pay additional shipping fees. This is because Royal Mail has completed their service of attempting to delivery the parcel to your address. This is a Non-refundable service once completed, even if they were unable to deliver your parcel.

c) If the address was not the issue, please contact us and we will contact Royal Mail as to why your parcel was returned to us.

The delivery time is when a order is despatch and not when it is placed.

All services require a signature unless you specify a safe place to leave your order. Please leave description in order notes before checkout or send us an email.

Once your order has been fulfilled (ready for collection) you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number.

Any missed deliveries, you must contact the courier to arrange a redelivery or collection.
